RAGBRAI: Oskaloosa to Fairfield (July 26)
The time, distance, heat, hills, and wind are taking its toll on everyone. People are moody and not communicating.
During the first half of the trip everyone was very good with their calls. “Passing left, car up, car back, rider up.” These calls help keep everyone safe; communication keeps everyone safe. This simple communication makes the day go faster and the ride seem easier.
The same can be said about communication in any situation. Make an effort to communicate the small things and you will see positive results.
