So each time we come into a town, cell towers get overloaded and stop working, especially “data.” As a result this post is a couple days old.
We rode through Pella on Thursday. This town, like all the towns we ride through is all heart with unique character and great people. The even had a fuctioning, period correct, Dutch windmill.

Iowa is Sharing the Road!
It was a good ride today, but each segment is getting harder. About 55 miles today with a climb in overall elevation of around 2800ft. Lots of town spirit in Runnels, IA and our overnight town Knoxville.
We got some good shots of cars and bicycles coexisting on the road. Everyone in Iowa has been supportive and accommodating. We’ve felt safe as they have passed in either direction. Do you feel safe Sharing the Road in your city?
