A Class B CDL may meet a driver’s current responsibilities, but new routes, equipment, or career opportunities can require the expanded privileges of a Class A CDL.

Smart Horizons offers online Class B-to-A Upgrade Theory Training developed specifically for drivers who already hold a Class B license. The course covers the required theory curriculum while allowing drivers to train around existing work schedules.

Upon successful completion, Smart Horizons reports the driver’s results directly to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry, clearing the way for behind-the-wheel training and the next step toward a Class A CDL.
