Class B vehicles are among the most common large commercial vehicles on the road, including passenger buses, garbage trucks, delivery trucks, cement mixers, school buses, and food trucks. A Class B vehicle is a single vehicle weighing 26,001 pounds or more (either its Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or actual weight), or a vehicle towing a unit that weighs 10,000 pounds or less.
To earn a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), drivers must complete both theory and behind-the-wheel training, followed by a CDL skills test.
The Smart Horizons ELDT Class B Theory course fulfills the theory training requirement.
We are an FMCSA-approved Training Provider, and our curriculum aligns with all federal Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements. Upon completion, your training record is automatically submitted to the Training Provider Registry (TPR).
