School Training Solutions™ to Attend the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) Annual Summit

STS Director will be on hand to support a streamlined NAPT Professional Development Series initiative for online school training.


STS will also host NAPT Career counselors to help navigate interested pupil transporters through the various NAPT PDS and certification options.


School Training Solutions™, a division of Smart Horizons®, is a leading provider of online training solutions for schools. STS Director, Mike Kelley, will be available at the 2011 Annual National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) Summit in Cincinnati, Ohio, to facilitate discussions highlighting the online portion of the NAPT Professional Development Series (PDS) and how it dovetails with the other aspects of the PDS program. He will be at the School Training Solutions (booth 737) to offer demonstrations of the courses and answer questions. School Training Solutions will also host NAPT Career counselors to help navigate interested pupil transporters through the various NAPT PDS and certification options.

Currently twenty-five of the NAPT PDS courses are available online for any pupil transportation professional who wants to advance his or her career. Education paths are available for entry level transportation employees to advance into a Specialist position or for seasoned professionals to advance into a Supervisor or District Manager position. The online courses offer CEUs that, in some cases, can be used toward yearly state in-service requirements.
