STS Director, Mike Kelley, will be available at the 2011 Annual National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) Summit in Cincinnati, Ohio, to facilitate discussions highlighting the online portion of the NAPT Professional Development Series (PDS) and how it dovetails with the other aspects of the PDS program. Education paths are available for entry level transportation employees to advance into a Specialist position or for seasoned professionals to advance into a Supervisor or District Manager position. The online courses offer CEUs that, in some cases, can be used toward yearly state in-service requirements.
