RAGBRAI: Council Bluffs to Harlan (July 21)

Posted in Blog, Sharing the Road on July 23rd, 2013.

Well, I hoped I would be able to get internet/cell signals at the overnight towns. That hasn’t been the case, so I am catching up on my blog posts in Des Moines, IA. I have been doing some short posts, when I get signals through some of the small towns. I hope it has been enough to at least peak your interest. Google RAGBRAI. There is a history; there is a legacy; there is a story. It is NOT just a party. It is a place to make new friends and see parts of the state you wouldn’t otherwise see.

First day was Council Bluffs to Harlan.

We rode close to 60 miles. It was hard. It was hot. But it was fun. The amount of people participating is staggering. The towns we passed through have been awesome. The other vehicles on the road have been considerate, patient, and accommodating.

Thanks for reading!
